Dr. Yazan, as he prefers to be called, is an interventional cardiologist who joined Heartland Cardiology in 2023. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Jordan Faculty of Medicine. He went on to do his internal medicine training at East Tennessee State University/Quillen College of Medicine where he was elected to serve as the chief resident at the Mountain Home VA Medical Center. He then did his general cardiovascular fellowship training at Charleston Area medical center/West Virginia University. Finally, he did his interventional cardiology training at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin.
Dr. Yazan is interested in percutaneous coronary intervention, including high-risk PCI requiring acute mechanical circulatory support devices like Impella, IABP, and ECMO, trans-esophageal echocardiogram, all types of stress tests and structural heart interventions including TAVR, ASD/PFO closure and watchman device implantation. Dr. Yazan enjoys working out, playing soccer, and traveling in his free time.
