Dr. Boppana is an accomplished interventional cardiologist and peripheral interventionalist at Heartland Cardiology where he has served the Wichita community since 2017. Dr. Boppana specializes in life-saving cardiac and vascular procedures, with expertise in Complex percutaneous coronary interventions, Peripheral vascular and venous interventions. He performs innovative treatments for uncontrolled hypertension, including renal denervation. Known for his clinical precision and academic excellence, Dr. Boppana currently serves as the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Wesley Medical Center.

A valedictorian graduate who earned 13 gold medals during his medical education, Dr. Boppana is quadruple board-certified in: Cardiovascular Diseases, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography and Vascular Interpretation (RPVI). He completed his rigorous medical training at Upstate Medical University (Syracuse), Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, and Saint Louis University. A respected voice in his field, he has published numerous studies in peer-reviewed journals and frequently presents at national medical conferences.

Outside of the lab, Dr. Boppana— enjoys an active lifestyle. He is an avid traveler and hiker who treasures spending time with his wife, Dr. Kolli, and their two children.
