Dr. Farhat is an interventional cardiologist who co-founded Heartland Cardiology in 1994. Dr. Farhat is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Interventional Cardiology and Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University Of Kansas School Of Medicine where he twice received “Teacher of the Year” award. He was selected in the Wichita Business Journal’s “Best Doctors in Cardiovascular Disease” in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. He was also elected by his peers for inclusion in Best Doctors in America® in 2013-2014, 2015-2016 and 2017-2018. Dr. Farhat serves as the President of Heartland Cardiology and the Medical Director of Echocardiography and Cardiac Rehabilitation at Wesley Medical Center. Dr. Farhat has served as assistant Scoutmaster in the Boy Scouts of America. He loves the outdoors and enjoys sports, hiking and traveling with his family.
