Heartland Cardiology Staff Donates To The Food Bank!

0 Comments on Heartland Cardiology Staff Donates To The Food Bank!

In a 2-week long race, Heartland Cardiology staff banned together to bring in 2,072 non-perishable items for The Kansas Food Bank, meeting the goal of 2,000 items!!!  With the holidays just around the corner, we know all too well how very important it is to help those in need.

Mina McGinnis, Director of Human Resources at Heartland Cardiology, stated “I sincerely appreciate everyone’s efforts this year, words aren’t enough to express my gratitude.  Many thanks for your time and money spent shopping, and especially for what you have done for those in need in our community.”

The winning team was Team #3 with 566 items.  The team included Gaille Galman, Ayman Hamad, Janice Harms, Angela Henderson, Diane Hill, Diana Holguin, Jessica Hubbard, Diane Hubin, Meghan Huffman, Amanda Ibarra, Melissa Jabara, Kris Jordan, Leslie Kaser, Tara Kitzke, Sandra Knighton, and Andrew Koehn.  The teams were split up based on the first letter of their last name.

Hunger is all around us, and effects men, women, children, and families in our community every day.  Each dollar you give provides enough nutritious food for 4 meals.  If you would like to make a donation, you can make your check payable to The Kansas Food Bank, 1919 East Douglas, Wichita, KS 67211.
