Heartland Cardiology’s significant growth is very gratifying and we are very thankful to our patients and referring physicians. While we are very proud of our expansion and new buildings, the focus of what we do hasn’t changed. We will continue to deliver the very best cardiovascular care in the most patient-friendly way possible.
With life expectancy increasing and a very large Baby Boomer population, the demand for cardiology services will continue to increase. Not only must we provide services to more patients, but we must also ensure that all aspects of their care are the best that it can be. Our recent expansion was designed with these two goals in mind. We now have more clinics in more locations which has substantially expanded our capacity to manage growing patient volume. To ensure that every Heartland patient receives exceptional care throughout the diagnosis and treatment process, we continually reinvest in quality. Put simply, we recruit and hire the best cardiologists from around the country, purchase the best diagnostic equipment available and hire the best technologists to operate the equipment. We put the most accurate and comprehensive diagnostic information in the hands of highly qualified physicians. The result is exceptional evaluation and treatment services. At Heartland, patient care always come first and we prove that every day.
Heartland has always been a leader in developing partnerships with physicians and health care facilities throughout Kansas to establish outreach cardiology clinics in smaller communities. We currently have twelve outreach clinics. While outreach clinics allow us to deliver our services to many more patients, it is not possible to put these clinics everywhere. We are also working to expand our participation in the exciting field of telemedicine. By using technology, we can partner with health care professionals in almost any location to provide cardiovascular evaluation and treatment services. Certainly, telemedicine will continue to grow in the future and Heartland will be on the leading edge.
